Would you support a constitutional amendment to make U.S. flag burning illegal?

This is a follow-up on the Iberville Parish Council's recent ordinance banning the burning of the U.S. flag.
As I recall, the SCOTUS ruled several years ago that burning the flag is protected free speech and laws making it illegal are unconstitutional.
So, the only likely way to make such laws constitutional would be the passing of a constitutional amendment prohibiting the burning of Old Glory or somehow declaring that burning the flag is not protected free speech.
I feel very strongly both ways on this issue....
You?

No, I wouldn’t. Slippery slope.

I think you should be able to burn the flag. I also think you should have to follow existing laws on burning things.
Additionally, you should expect to be ridiculed for burning the flag by people who think it's OK to do it because it's a free country but find the action abhorrent.

No. I think people who burn the flag are generally shitty people, but I don't think it deserves a constitutional amendment to stop them.
There's a hell of a lot more important things that deserve a constitutional amendment....balanced budget.

Folks burning the flag should be thrown over the Freedom Wall.

No. Isn't the point of the 2nd Amendment that while we don't want to rebel now, we can't know whether we will in the future, so we should hold on to the opportunity?
How would desecrating the flag not be the same?
What kind of weird situation would that be where the constitution explicitly allows you guns to violently overthrow the government if you disagree with it that much, but you can't burn the flag in that case?

Those same people do it for Facebook likes. They have no idea why they are even burning it in the first place.

No. Its disrespectful but is a right. Just like kneeling, it helps us identify the mental midgets so we can decide to dismiss their arguments.

Absolutely not,it is only a symbol.
I support flag burners getting called out by their fellow Citizens, all enjoying their same rights.

NO.
I'm against most of the existing constitutional amendments after the bill of rights.
But if Ville Platte votes to make it illegal within the city limits then either don't burn the flag or move to Carencro.
