They rejected a hand count recount. The counties can determine themselves if they do a hand recount or a machine recount.

There's no precedent of having a recount when there's a 22,000 vote difference. Glad to see they told them to buzz off with the hand count bs. They can count by machine all they want but it's a quick waste of 3.5 mil.

I'm still trying to figure out the end game here. No way Wisconsin, or Michigan, or Pennsylvania are going to risk Mickey Mouse third world style banana republic bullshite status by not certifying the electors by the deadline. All those electors will be bound and certified by deadline. No doubt about it. So what's the endgame with that significant of a margin of 22k votes?

According the DU (yes, I know, don't shoot the messenger) there are counties that are already underway with a hand count. And Toddy is right, it's up to the individual counties. However, they could bring Einstein and Hawking in to tag team the count and even they wouldn't be able to erase the deficit she has there though, so I'm not sure why it matters. I guess if so much as one vote for trump was erroneously counted then it means the Russians hacked the whole election, Constitutional Crisis, illegitimate president, etc. etc.
