Will the media label the shooter as ALT LEFT

Will James Hodkinson be labeled ALT-LEFT by the media as they would for any Republican connected person committing a similar act of violence?

Alt-right is what it sounds like: an 'alternative' to the mainstream right. It's a grab-bag of big-govt bullshitters that includes a bunch of racists in there. They call themselves the alt-right. It would be stupid to call a Bernie supporter 'alt-left'.

I saw a very fair CNN article that called him a leftist. Couldn't believe it. They also used it as an opportunity to point out the guy watched Maddow and Maher.

What you don't seem to get is that, if you're really sick enough to want to use violence to score political points, you don't want the media to concoct a term to describe this guy instead of just describing him as a Bernie-supporting Democrat. It works better for you if the media can't brush him off as just a member of a tiny minority group.
