Wild boar stampeded and killed terrorists

A herd of wild boars became the latest group to join the fight against ISIS — killing three jihadi barbarians during a stampede this week in Iraq, according to reports.
At least eight ISIS fighters were taking cover among dense reeds in the al-Rashad region about 55 miles southwest of Kirkuk, preparing for a surprise strike on local anti-ISIS tribesmen when the hero boars charged them on Sunday, Newsweek reported.
“It is likely their movement disturbed a herd of wild pigs, which inhabit the area as well as the nearby cornfields,” Sheikh Anwar al-Assi, a chief of the local Ubaid tribe and supervisor of anti-ISIS forces, told the Times of London.

Yeah, that didn't happen.
I wouldn't doubt that the wild pigs ate some of the dead bodies, but no way they killed three people.

Have you seen some of the Boars in Florida and Texas- get cornered jumped bow hunting or only carrying bird loads and you could be in a world of hurt if you can't get up a tree.
I could see it if they were in dense undergrowth and unarmed or only carrying heavy weapons or something (say setting up a mortar tube).

Wild boar are unpredictable, highly intelligent, heavily armored and fairly well armed for an animal that size. It is confirmed they have killed people, bears and LOTS of dogs. If you doubt that a pack of them could kill 3 people under the right circumstances, then I suggest you try to hunt them with primitive implements. You seem to not have much fear of them which seems to be a requisite for such a sport.
