Why would anyone want to live in Shiteifornia after last night

I still dont get why so many people on here, especially on the OT, white knight for California so much and talk about how great it is and how anyone who doesn't think California is the awesomest best state in the universe is a hater who is jealous that they dont live there
I'd rather live in Barrow Alaska and freeze my arse off every day of the year than California. Lived in California for 5 months and that was 5 months too many. Shitty shitty shitty state. Who cares about muh weather and muh scenery when traffic is shite at all hours of the day, its too crowded, its too expensive, and illegals are running around everywhere, and now we have peaceful protesters pepper spraying people and setting their hat on fire
Things are only going to get worse in Shitifornia - their governments and politicians, local and statewide, will continue to encourage this type of behavior as political posturing. Calling it now, at some point Trump will have to send in the national guard to Shitifornia

Again, Trump CANT send any National Guard anywhere. Especially without declaring an act of war. They are state militia who respond to the governor of the state. Their numbers pale in comparison to active duty though and they would never fight their brothers in arms. Still, Trump doesn't really have the authority to send them to stop the rioters.

You're absolutely right. When I lived there back in 2011 it was absolutely miserable. It's hard to take advantage of the "things to do" when you have little disposable income because housing and taxes are so high. Some places in California $100k salary is poverty.
I remember being offered a job in San Diego a few years ago for $39,000. I laughed and hung up the phone and never spoke with them again. I'd be better off making $20k in the South.

I lived in Orange County - supposedly the conservative county of the state - and it was still an illegal infested hellhole where half the people didn't even speak English
Wal Mart greeters would greet you with "Bienvenidos".
I still remember going to a Del Taco and the drive thru worker didn't speak English and had to get someone who did.

You have some weird hang ups about people. Just because someone doesn't speak English doesn't make them illegal. Nor does greeting someone with Bienvenidos make you illegal or unable to speak English.
