Why not fight ISIL with criminal?

What would be wrong with taking every prisoner serving a life sentence, training and arming them, and then dropping them off in Syria and telling them they are free and there are no rules. Let them murder, rape, and pillage anyone or anything they wish.

The number of problems with this are too numerous to list! But here are just a few.
- High probability of them joining the enemy.
- High probability of them just disappearing from the battle field.
- No will to fight, why fight when they can disappear.
- Human rights groups would eat this country alive.
- Illegal in numerous ways.
- The list goes on…

I've brought up the idea of sending locked up cartel members to Afghanistan to take over the opium trade, but I like this idea to. They'd hand ISIS their arse in no time. I guess they could fight for the oil.

Nah they wouldn't hand isil or Isis their arse. Look haji probably can't read or write (a lot can't) but they are smarter than what they appear.
