As a man, I did everything in my power to protect my kids from the evils of the world. I let them learn the lessons they needed to learn but they were never upset about life. These liberal idiots have dragged their kids into the ditches with them and it's bullshite. I'm a huge believer in being a product of your environment. Right now their environment is a big bag of dicks.

Because they kill many of their kids before they're born.

I've seen multiple Facebook posts post-election where parents are futilely attempting to console their distraught 3rd grade kids.

A. They're lying/embellishing for dramatic effect. Or...

B. They're purposely raising a bunch of pussies.

Both scenarios make these parents shitty people.

Bad parenting is bad parenting, and not exclusive to any ideology. I take serious issue with this generalization since I've seen great parents from across the spectrum as well.

My parents are more conservative and my wife's parents are more liberal, and they're all great parents.

In college, there were 8 of us who lived in a house. Some of my roommates came from very conservative families (rural Ohio), while others came from very liberal families (northeast). We all had successful, hard-working parents, who have been married for decades.

Uh, marriage is a trigger for people who see it as an artificial societal construct designed to marginalize people with alternative lifestyles.

I generally agree with this.

So are you saying its class then?

Edit: Because thats my theory. There are people that just dont give a shite about anything and there are ones that do. The ones that do tend to be better parents.

I'm a Cub Scout Master of a Pack with ~ 60 boys. I have to tell you. It's not a Liberal vs. Conservative thing (though Liberal parents are more inclined)... it's neutered fathers who won't control their kid.

Autism and ADHD, I get... but sometime these boys just need a Dad willing to teach his son to be a man.

You mean scientific theory right? B/c people's opinion on abortion have changed since we have better technology. They also don't have definitive evidence humans are the cause of global warming. It's a theory, but we've had global warming and cooling multiple times over the past millions of years. So yeah you teach your kids to believe in scientific theory like it's correct.

my parents were pretty shitty parents and they were liberal. it had nothing to do with the liberalness though.

I have friends and family that are great parents, and some that are shitty parents. The only trend I notice that differentiates them is how much tv they let their kids watch.

I think both are related, but I don't think it's necessarily causal. In other words, there are certain negative traits (poor self-control, lower cognitive ability, social skills deficits) that negatively impact their income potential and their parenting ability (among other things).

Theory's that are 99 percent a fact, shouldn't be taught as false because of that one percent. Sheltering your kids because you're scared they will have different opinions than you is wrong.
