Why is the Country All of the Sudden Racist Just Because Hillary Didn't Win?

A white woman, 8 years after we elected an actual black man ? 
All the libs are saying "I guess America really is racist" and it was "white lash"?
Are these just excuses so they can ignore the issues within their own party? Is "you're a racist" now just a knee-jerk reaction to anyone who doesn't completely agree with them?
Seriously, how are we letting them run with the narrative "America is racist" when there wasn't even a minority running, and WE JUST HAD a black man as president?
Thoughts?

Calling someone or something racist takes no thought or evidence and can have drastic effects. That's why the left does it. Also, it projects their party's own racism away from themselves.

That's all they have. And for 8 years, the race card was played and never challenged. Doesn't work anymore.

Of course we're gonna let them keep doing it, it just continues to erode their position. I'm all for just giving them enough rope to hang themselves.

You're considered a Jew if its passed from the mother, so I contend that Obama is white. He simply identifies with the AA culture for sympathy reasons.

And at the same time they've managed to reduce the value and sting of that card by continuing to over play it.
Just watched the Milo video provided in another thread where an audience member refers to him as a white supremacist with zero ability to defend the accusation.
It's truly bizarre how the left believes words alone are sufficient for them to stake out a position.

To be fair, it isn't all of a sudden. They've been calling anyone not in agreement with them racist forever. They just use this as a "told you so" moment. It's a lose, lose. Gotta give them credit though, they stick to it and have convinced damned near half the country.

60 million people voted for Trump. He won. So they now need a reason.
Option A - Their political platform doesn't connect with the majority of Americans that don't live in CA and NY. They picked a terrible candidate and the cult like way they have embraced the PC culture pushed away a multitude of undecided voters. The left was wrong - about everything
Option B - Everyone else is racist. There is no possible way they were wrong.
