I get it in airports because CNN was smart and partnered with airports back in the 1990's.

But at gyms, hotel lobbies, condo building lobbies, office lobbies, etc. it's always CNN.

I feel like they used to be considered the most "balanced" in the early 2000's but there's just no way that it could be considered such now.

CNN is actually looking better as an option now that OReilly is out at Fox, which is now just a bunch of cartoon characters. I hate Don Lemon as much as the next guy, but I will not be tuning in for Hannity or Cucker.

Plus the airport version of CNN is the watered down censored version just in case some muslim blows something up so they don't have to show that in the airport and scare snowflakes about to get on planes.

Easy. Dems complain when they find Foxnews on tvs in businesses. Repubs don't complain when CNN is on. Businesses usually just try to avoid problems so they keep it on CNN.

Because they give it away for free basically ... pennies on the dollar of what Fox News commands. 12¢ per subscriber, free to airports, even less to hotel chains.

Remember, CNN is owned by TBS who is owned by TWC and they are an actual provider.

You mean they are owned by Time Warner, which is NOT the same thing as Time Warner Cable (now called Spectrum).

So I'm going to guess the rest of your post is inaccurate as well.

You may assume what you wish - the fact is Turner Broadcasting owns CNN and Turner is owned by Time Warner ... although you are correct, I forgot TWC division was sold off but it doesn't matter because most of the subscription deals we're done while TWC was still part of the company and now, with the AT&T merger the provider provision is back in effect.

Well I thought it was an interesting post, but then felt let down when I saw that inaccuracy. I'll cautiously accept that the rest of information was in target though since I found it interesting.

If you would actuclly travel outside of the USA, there is a good chance that you would realize that is the go to american network.
That said when I travel abroad I watch the BBC

Maybe the 1% prefer Fox?

And maybe the 10% (people who fly) like CNN?

My company has Fox on in the breakroom, the university where I am taking a course also has Fox.

Because if actual breaking news hits CNN is the only major American News Network that has actually invested in foreign correspondents?

This is more or less true although they have cut back thir internatinal footprint, and the internet will scoop all networks by several minutes to several hours anyway.
