Russia has always been our enemy. They will continue to be, no matter what temporary alliance we make (see, e.g., WWII).
For the record, I'm a liberal and I think Trump is right to ally with Russia (in the short term, of course). But when this shite in Syria is done and the battle for Europe's future is over, Russia is back on the shite list.

The left loves Russia. They love the total control over the population. They are just pretending to hate Russia now. Bill and Hillary loved the Russians when they were bribed to allow Hillary's State Dept to give Russian government controlled company to get 20& of US's uranium supply. This is the same company that supplied the nuclear technology to Iran. What a great reset! Read Clinton Cash. It's all in there including detailed references.

The left is suddenly Russia hawking the shite of the place, the right is praising abhorrent shitbags like Assad and Putin.
In truth, if Trump merely wants to end unnecessarily hostilities with Russia in an effort (whether misguided or not) to bring stability to Syria, that's not a ridiculous aim. His supporters praising Putin constantly, which I think is largely for humor but is probably to some degree serious, is the ridiculous part.
Meanwhile, lefties raising questions about a potential fondness for Putin on the part of the new administration isn't ridiculous either. Histrionics about every single thing they can tie to Russia, a country they previously deemed not a threat to the US, are absurd, of course.

That is just not true. Before Bolsheviks Russia was very good for the US. In fact, if it had not been for Russia the South would have won the civil war with the help of Britain and France, but Russia would not let them join. Bolsheviks are the same type of people as the Neocons. They love war, they love misery, they love slaughtering people. Putin has been slowly but surely kicking out the bolshevik types and restoring Russia. Trump kicked the neocons to the curb, the jumped on the democrat train, and they are, as always, demanding war.
