Hillary would've caused a war with Russia, and as much as Russia dislikes the US they know it would be the worst thing that could happen to both sides.

I believe its more that they are afraid of a war if Clinton took office. They looked ready to start WWIII, at least that's what some news sources said. Idk how true it is.

Unlike Hillary, Trump has said he actually wants to get along with Russia. Whereas Hillary just wants to blame everything on the Russians.

It's no big deal that the Russian foreign minister admitted that Russia was in contact with the Trump campaign throughout the election. At all.
