Why can't folks on either side of the political spectrum call out...

...their party's jackassery?

Cons will never admit that Trump makes mistakes due to his thin-skinned, knee-jerk nature.

Libs will never admit that they're being guided by fringe lunatics who are only good at getting the 'democratic base' to rally behind issues which don't pertain to most Americans.

Why is there no middle ground?

The 2-party system we have somehow backed our way into, is a colossal failure.

I see a decent number of right wingers here say Trump has made mistakes since taking office. There are definitely some that fit your description though.

I've never seen anyone on the left admit this.

ETA: And of course some pissy little lefty (looking at you Toddy) downvotes this almost immediately.

Half the threads on this board are conservatives calling out the new healthcare bill.

I'd say that conservatives are much more likely to jump ship over a position than a liberal would.

1. Trump does not make mistakes.
2. His skin is actually .74mm thicker than the next closest human being.
3.He shoots from the hip but does not have "knee-jerk nature".

Say three Hail Mary's , ask forgiveness from our beloved God Emperor or fight me at the Sonic. Your choice.

Numnuts he is not thin-skinned or knee-jerk. You only think this way because the propaganda MSM told you to.

Regarding criticizing him, it may never happen out of our need to constantly defend him. Never have I seen any presidential candidate or president be ridiculed and hammered with the persistence that Trump has. Because of this his supporters will always defend him.

I promise you that if he were treated fairly then you would see us call out his mistakes when they occur. Instead you and your batshit crazy ilk have decided to go to war over this, so we will continue to fight back.

I'm a liberal, and I don't support many SJW causes. They don't guide me at all.

Some conservatives and/or Republicans are starting to call out Trump.

Unfortunately this board is full of sheep who only refer to sources that support their agenda. But if you dig, you will find some who apply the same standards to everyone.

I'll give this board and other conservatives credit for calling out this awful new healthcare bill

although they seem adamant about not associating it with Trump, which is kinda funny

I'm very conservative and hyper critical of the GOPe.
But even a blind pig can find an acorn once and awhile. Gramnesty saying letting Obamacare crash and burn is better than passing Ryancare!

Did you read his TIME interview? He's his own worst enemy. If he continues to speak incoherently every time he's not at a scripted event/rally then you can't really complain about him being criticized for it.

Sorry I spoke above your head. Let me try again.

If Trump continues to sound like either a dummy or someone in early stages of dementia when he's interviewed or speaking without a script then he will continue to be criticized.

So Trump's own twitter account is propaganda?

I think what you're ultimately getting at is we need more moderates. Maybe even a 3rd party just for moderates.
