Actually a point a buddy and I discussed this weekend.
Also the strange affiliation the media has with associating anything "white" with Nazis. Hell, Nazis hate whites just as much as minorities. This is a Christian country, Nazis weren't fond of catholics...LOL

I am pissed off that the media and the general public have allowed the meaning of the Confederate battle flag to be associated with the KKK. Those arse holes hijacked it and are the root to the removal of anything Confederate. We have governments leading our public to believing the same thing. Just stop it and fix your education.

IMO, the American brand of white supremacy will try an attach to various elements hoping to gain acceptance. The common thread will be white heritage. The neo nazis were fairly fringe amongst them while WWII vets still had a presence. Now they weave elements of prison culture, American history, and disaffected white angst hoping to hit upon a message.
To me, they are chameleons, adopting whatever color it takes to find a home. They can sound like prototypical religious conservatives one day, old school democrats the next, and then rally with skin heads (who have a lot in common with anarchists) or nazis on the weekend.

If you read up on the actual ideology and look at the groups they list as their "enemies", numbers dictate this observation. Nazis are equal opportunity haters.
Again, people act like they just dislike brown folks. They don't. Their list is long, thus the reason people like my grandfather went and killed many of them......only to be called a nazi by the left later years after he returned from Euroland.
