I don't doubt many of you know of the tremendous accomplishments he made to America. He's what I consider the greatest American. If you read his books & the books about him you would see the genius & the flaws.
He did so much for this country that is ours. It's ours because he was FUNDAMENTAL in the forming & independence of it.
Thank you, Mr. Franklin for your contributions to democracy, discovery, & invention.

This thread would have been better if you would have given us a link to some amazing Ben Franklin books.

Thanks, but I'm just stating what every American should know about the tremendous accomplishments he has made. If people knew the scope of what he achieved in his lifetime, they would be flabbergasted.

I'm a great admirer of Benjamin Franklin.
I even carry pictures of him in my wallet.

When I was in London years ago I did a little walking tour. The guide showed us a house that Ben Franklin lived in for a while. He said that ol' Ben liked to bathe and then "air dry" in front of a large window... bucket arse nekkit.

I've read the biography on Ben Franklin and Teddy Roosevelt. Both were extraordinary men. Ben was a revolutionary, invented so many things, turned against his son who sided with the british, etc. Teddy was a hard worker who lived life, took a bullet in war, orchestrated the panama canal, and became president. I think I remember reading that he went fishing out at the chandeleur islands one time. That would be bad arse to fish with him.

Plus he loved to bang a bunch of chicks on his diplomatic trips to France. The GOAT.

I never have enough of his pictures in my wallet for my liking. I think we should start printing a five hundred with Reagan.
