Donald Trump's tweet misleads about London mayor's reaction to bridge, stabbing attacks

At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is "no reason to be alarmed!"

The London mayor did use those words in a morning-after newsconference about the van and stabbing rampage. But in no way, shape or form did Khan say them about the terrorist attack.

We rate Trump’s statement False.

I think "false" is wrong. "Massively taken out of context like the tone deaf twitter hack that he is" would be more accurate.

Those words were his but he didn't say them.

Logic?

So context is unimportant? Khan said there was no reason to be alarmed about increased police presence.

Like the context there are more police because there are violent jihadis?

Wow. Politifact basically has to redefine the word "false" to attack Trump.

Scumbags.

We are literally witnessing 1984 type-shite from progs, the MSM and their interwebz abettors. And some people, even in this thread, are dumb enough to believe it and defend it.

Unreal.

Increased police presence for fear of more attacks WOULD be cause for alarm.

This should have ended the thread. The reply you got is puzzling.

It's the internet. It's name calling. I'm alarmed that you of all people ran to the help board given the amount of shite you dish out.

Khan has no clue when and where these terrorists will strike.

If he did, we wouldn't be having this conversation. This attack was part of a string of Ramadan attacks across the globe. There will almost certainly be more.

For him to tell Londoners that there's no reason to be alarmed is shockingly obtuse.

^^^^ This is absolutely right. Ramadan ends on June 24th and you can expect more attacks. For this dumbass to say this is pure utter bullshite. He is either an ostrich or marching the liberal party line at the detriment of English citizens. As a former Force Protection Officer I would ring the neck of my superior if he said something this stupid.

The context was what the MSM was hilariously ignoring

1) This is the 3rd UK attack recently
2) It is the start of Ramadan
3) There is an increased police presence
4) And the mayor of the town where all these attacks have been occurring said "there's no reason to be alarmed"

After THE 3RD ATTACK, those words have no meaning anymore. You damn sure better be alarmed! Because it is the unalarmed that keep getting murdered at the concerts and sidewalks

The king of name calling on this board ran to the help board because he was being picked on? Oh the irony.

No, I don't remember, but there have been some horrible things said about my daughter here and about kids with Downs in general. And while you and I have had disagreements many times, every fricking thread you've had on here almost for the past few days have involved you name calling.

I don't in any way believe you're a pedophile, but I don't know you beyond the persona you put on here. If you've defended my daughter on here at times, or special needs children in general, thank you. But you are a terrible name caller, which is a shame. Because a lot of your arguments are well reasoned, but that message gets droned out by the thin skin you absolutely have.
