Im looking into getting another insurance plan.
I know that Humana, Aetna, and recently UnitedHealth have left or mostly abandoned ACA.
I am currently in Louisiana and I am mostly healthy save for seasonal allergies (the kind that over the counter medicine fixes).
I have no pre existing conditions, if that matters.

Aetna will stay in because they're looking to increase their footprint through acquisitions and/or mergers. They will need to government to approve these acquisitions & mergers. Therefore, they trying to play nice.

Why has Blue Cross stayed in when everyone else with business acumen is trying to get away.

In LA your only options are BCBS (90%+ market share), Humana or Vantage.
With Humana, it depends on the Parish. Humana is only selling plans in 8 Parishes in the state. Mostly in South La.

I wouldn't be surprised if BCBSLA opted out sooner rather then later. From what I have heard, they are loosing millions form the exchange.

Insurance in the ACA
That is quite an oxymoron.
