Which do you think is more probable regarding "Muh Russians"

1. The Russians hacked the DNC in an elaborate scheme to get podestas emails and then release them via wikileaks to keep Hillary from getting elected.
2. Seth Rich working for the DNC as a berniebro, leaked the emails to wikileaks.
Which one do you think is more likely to have occurred?

Also don't confuse the DNC leaks with Podesta.
Seth probably leaked the DNC emails and a hacker (Russian or otherwise) phished Podesta (and /pol/ hacked his iCloud b/c he didn't change his iCloud username and password once they were discovered in the Wikileaks release...Podesta is such a dumbass when it comes to basic computing).

I think you mean separate leaks.
We really don't have evidence that the leaks were the results of an outsider hacking the system in either case.

An insider would get the emails by accessing the system internally, then leaking them to the media (in this case, wikileaks).
This is BY FAR more likely than an elaborate Russian conspiracy theory.

maybe, that is if Seth had the knowledge or want to do this
but if we acknowledge that "muh Russians" could have hacked Podesta, is it really that far of a stretch to think they hacked the DNC as well?

Dismissing the most likely scenario of a typical insider (or insiders) leak and substituting it with an elaborate conspiracy theory involving "MUH RUSSIANS" is a stretch.
That's especially the case knowing the kind of strife within the DNC early last year.
