no other country is capable. The U.S. is the only global power who can move freely and project power on that scale.

Because it'd be entertaining as hell, if anything.

Nobody has the military power to do this but US. And the few countries that do have the military power aren't exactly the moral-world-police type.

We don't ask for policemen from Mississippi, much less Alaska, to come take care of us in TN. Why should the same not apply on a global scale?

Every country should take care of policing their own shite.

I agree with the thought, and if it functioned properly it would be the best solution.

Like it or not the United States is the only balance of power actuator in the world. It is the only country in the world that can exert its influence on any part of the planet if it chooses to do so.

No they don't. World order does not require a global hegemonic power. Multipolar international structures have existed in the past and have done so with relative peace and order. With global bodies like the U.N., essential hegemonic influence can be organized and conducted by a coalition of nations. Or regional hegemons can exert influence and order in their own geopolitical neighborhoods, lessening the costs and risks incumbent on a global hegemon to be everywhere and battling everyone at once.

The U.S. is soon to be incapable of exerting effective hegemonic power as we have since the end of WWII. People need to be prepare for this shift in world order as it is necessary and inevitable.

Because a very valuable resource was found beneath the sand those savages buried their feces in.
