Where are the threads criticizing Hindus and Buddhists?

I'm asking this because there are people here who claim that criticizing Islam is unwarranted and proof that many people suffer from something called Islamophobia. That means we have an irrational fear, or even hatred of Muslims, right?

Hence, I pose this question for the board to contemplate. If it really isn't the BEHAVIOR of Muslims that is being criticized, and many of us really do loathe them because of their different religious belief system, then WHY IS IT THAT NOBODY EVER STARTS A THREAD ABOUT HINDUS, BUDDHISTS, OR THE FOLLOWERS OF ANY OTHER RELIGION (excluding Christianity)?

So, if the concern about Muslims isnt related to their behavior, what is it based on? Why are other non-Christian religions exempt from said criticism?

Please feel free to weigh in. I would truly be interested in hearing a) why anybody thinks that Islamophobia is real, and b) why those of us who are allegedly Islamophobic limit our "irrational" fear and hatred of other religious groups exclusively to the followers of Islam.

There was a thread earlier where somebody was offended by somebody's bumper sticker which facetiously praises an Egyptian deity.

He even wondered if it should be covered under freedom of speech.

I contemplated this before and the answer is simple, there are little threads about Buddhist, Hindus, Mormons, Jehoveh Witnesses, etc. because these religions or sects live peacefully with others and pretty much stay to themselves. Muslims would also be left alone if they did the same. The bad mouthing that they get, they bring it upon themselves.

You would think this concept is simple to the libtard Muslim apologists.

There has been plenty of Hindu and Buddhist violence. See India, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar. However, it's rather self-contained and not being exported across the globe. It also pales in comparison to the brutality of radical Islamic violence.

Criticizing them for what? I'm not saying there aren't sects within their own religions, or any religions for that matter, that don't do fricked up shite (read: extremists). But, as far as I can tell, they aren't kidnapping innocent Americans and lopping their heads off to push their extremist fear-mongering agenda. Or just killing people because they don't share their beliefs or pay a tax or whatever.

I mean, and I haven't researched this one bit, but whatever happens (if anything) in the Hindu and/or Buddhist communities must be self contained. Or at least that's my view of it because I don't hear stuff happening with them that's happening within Islam. Maybe you have some links or something I can read. Or maybe they are doing the same fricked up shite but just don't have oil so the American media doesn't report it

So by your rationale, ALL alabama fans should be shunned because of Harvey Updyke. It's not that there's something wrong with him outside of being an Alabama fan, and he is simply using that as a vehicle to express his dysfunction. Instead you posit that it's the very nature of Alabama fans to produce a Harvey Updyke.

No.
First of all, are you honestly comparing vandalism to beheading of humans, murdering families, turning prepubescent girls into sex slaves?

Bad move!

Ignoring the ridiculous comparison, Alabama fans who are not disgusted by Updyke's actions should be "shunned"

it's not actually. You either a) don't like it because it causes you to experience cognitive dissonance or b) you just plain don't understand it.

Faulty comparison fallacy. It doesn't deserve a response.

You should totally make a point in defense of Islam. Why don't you go kick it with Abdul al Harzoo and his pals in the ME for a little while? I'm sure y'all will be total bros since you white-knight his savage religion on an American message board.

You lefties and your labels don't mean anything, you sling them around haphazardly and they have lost any value.

As you entertain me, kind of like the dancing monkey that flings poo. Speaking of which, you aren't related to Harry Reid are you?

There are not hundreds (at least) of isolated incidents over the last 15 years of any other religion creating chaos and behaving barbaricly and openly abhorring western culture.
