When the social media generation become nominees...

I think the only nominees will be the wise kids who either limit their social media exposure or don't have any at all.

Social media as we know it today in 2040 is going to be like a rotary phone today, no one is going to remember what the hell it was.

I sincerely doubt twitter and facebook are still around even by 2030.

We can only be so lucky that social media disappears. It has completely ruined intelligent political discourse and general intelligence.

Facebook as a company will likely be around, even if the current version of their website isn't. They've stockpiled so much of our personal data that they'll easily be able to turn it into a consistent revenue stream for the next 20 years

It won't disappear, but we do need to find a way to turn it into something less harmful
