Serious question.

Why is it the Republicans who are always called racist even though history shows the democrats hold the title more?

And yet as the racism in the South began to decline, membership in the Republican Party in the South began to increase.

It happened in the mid to late 60's.

Democrats are filled with as many racist. When you consider over 90% of blacks voted for Obama if 90% of whites voted for Trump then the medias heads would explode with accusations and racist commentary.

90% of blacks vote Obama = not racist
90% of whites vote Trump = racist

Where's the long list of Southern Dem politicians who turned Republican during that time? TIA.

"Blacks are inferior so they must be owned."

And

"Blacks are inferior so they must be separate."

And

"Blacks are inferior so they must be cared for."

All of these statements require a racist world view to believe.

They also seem to magically forget that avowed segregationist George Wallace finished third in nomination voting at the 1972 Democratic (NOT Republican, Congressman Keith Ellison) Convention. This despite the fact that Wallace was shot and paralyzed months earlier. Note that this was nearly a decade after passage of the Civil Rights Act, when the supposed magical "party transformations" took place.

On the subject of Wallace...any SJWs please feel free to tell me about ANY time that Republicans did anything like this. I'll wait...

Are y'all trying to make some fantasy argument that the Republican Party and modern conservatives are unfairly portrayed as having strong racist elements? Were y'all sleeping during Obama's presidency? Racism was a daily feature of Republican obstruction for eight years, and it's still going on. This is today. Like right now.

Probably when LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and was quoted saying "These n!&&€£$ will be voting for us for the next 50 years!"

NEVER DID....They are the new plantation Masters....give certain groups just enough to exist....for "FREE".....make that group think you "CARE" about them...that you are "HELPING" them....and you have a voting block forever.....

Thus by your insipid parameters...any minority Democrat that opposes President Trump...IS RACIST.

Oh really? You have a link for that or you're just spouting your own opinions?

Obstruction happens in all presidencies, but since Obama is black it was because of racism right?

What time period are you talking about? It happened almost completely with 20 years or so. I know y'all like to discount the Southern Strategy but it happened and it is still impacting southern politics.

It is a misconception that ther is no racism (white on black) outside of the south. This is WRONG. If you've ever spent time other than short business trips and the like outside the south you know there are as many knuckle dragging racists in any section of the nation. When southern politicians started touting the pliability of southerners to kiss their bosses arse and the lack of regulations as an incentive to move jobs to the south southerners were displaced by knuckle dragging racists from up north. The educated people who managed these companies weren't about to leave Chicago and New York.....the brains stayed home and sent the idiots to the south. Those educated people are less racist than the a-hole UAW member from Michigan who fouled his own nest in Detroit with demands while refusing to recognize that that there were plenty of uneducated idiots in the south who would blow the boss for a job and then moved his arse to Spring Hill, Tennessee because his plant closed in Michigan.

This word literally has no meaning any longer. That's too bad if someone is discriminating against you......like the media or the BCC does against any white person.

This is a great example of the point I made in the other thread where Progressives will blatantly lie about history in order to fit a narrative.

TY for proving my point. Again. You idiots make it too easy.

Myth and revisionist history. Southern whites moved away from the Dems due to increasing economic opportunity in the south post WW2. Voting trends corroborate this reality. Dems have always been racist and about class warfare, they just got less obvious about it in the last 50 years.
