When are absentee ballots generally counted in Louisiana?

Just curious as my vote on the SOS site still says it's "pending"

I think normally they will count it but it won't show up on your portal until well after it is counted. You did it on paper and they count it with a machine or something like that. I'm pretty sure that someone actually has to go in and register all of those things. Government takes time.
