What would your reaction be if Trump got Mexico to agree to pay for the Wall?

Will the liberals credit him? Will people continue to claim he's an incompetent amateur?

Personally, I'll probably hit peak winning.

I would not be surprised. He told us that would happen months ago.

I would convert to islam, and make a trip to Sweeden for a victory rape session.

Did you read his book, the art of the deal?

he always has the next deal ready before he finishes a deal. yes, Mexico will pay for the wall. But we will give up something in return.

That said, I feel comfortable that he will value the wall high and whatever is returned as low. and he will immediately be on to the next deal. That's the way he works.

So my reaction will be, "ok. what's next."

I wouldn't care because I don't give a damn about the wall. Fix the insurance stuff first please/thanks.

Yes, I'm beginning to accept that they'll directly pay for the Wall

The Wall is the single most important aspect of Trump's presidency

If he could do that without an obvious cost to the average American consumer, I'd be impressed. While I am not convinced that this Wall should be even remotely on our radar of things to fix, getting it done the way he promised would go a long way for me. I am not a liberal by any stretch but I loathe Trump in an almost unhealthy way. I simply cannot fathom how anyone can see anything but the buffoon I see. Every bit of me is telling me to wait 100 days before I truly form an opinion but he just disgusts me and looks like he's in over his head.

We should pay for the wall and be done with it, IMO. Love for the Mexicans to pay but I really don't care...

To be honest, my tax dollars are already going to house, feed, and educate illegal immigrants, so even if I have to give a little more now, it will cut my tax contribution, and that of my children in the future when all these people aren't able to come into our country so easily.

I get all of that, but this is specifically asking for your reaction if it happens

I won't be terribly shocked by anything Trump accomplishes or fricks up. He's amazed me on all fronts.

It's on my shelf next to Bernie Madoff's book "How to Invest Wisely and Honorably".

But to the OP's question, I would look to see what we gave Mexico in return.

Hyperbole... No?

ISIS before a declining number of Mexicans seeking a better life? Healthcare, Social Security, campaign finance, and term limits reform before the Wall? Diplomacy and continuing international alliances is less important than a wall with limited use? Anyone with any means will go under it or just cross via feet and backpack from the North. I know you're usually pretty ridiculous but I don't think you're dumb so I'm going with hyperbole.

Did you? If so, is it worth the read?
