What happened to being no matter what creed or colour you are being an American? I have friends and family that are of different colours and creed, have friends that have different sexual orientation. Many of these same people believes they are American and proud to be even with past wrongs done against them or their past generations. So I guess what I am asking where did we go wrong to where people have no pride in their country. Been all over this world and never see this disenchantment attitude towards ones country, no matter what kind of strife they maybe going through they have pride in their country.

Class is more important than race or culture.

Race is promoted for the dullards to debate.

But a black investment banker on wall street will have more in common with a white investment bankers and trailer park trash will have more in common no matter what color they are.

In addition, I'd say that at least a portion of the blame lies on genuinely poor leadership over the course of several decades.

It's all about getting votes, easier to get votes when you can dominate a demographic through fear mongering. It's not completely exclusive to one party either

Otherwise people just vote on common sense policy, which scares established politicians because anyone can have great ideas and "steal" their established base, their control

Also pitting the country against each other keeps them from uniting against you and threatening the status quo.

Were all supposed to be one big happy family, arms entwined singing Kumbaya, while Global Elites, Financiers, Media, and the PC Police run us into the ground.

You cant be a simple White Guy, minding your own business, living your life...oh no, God forbid, we all have to be MultiRacial, MultiCultural, and what ever Multi BS they can come up with next.

I can understand the political spectrum of some of these views, but when you see videos of people just showing out right hate for the country that gives them the right to express that hate just blows my mind. Have lived in countries that have so little but have so much pride for their country. Guess the general population has become spoiled and in grateful for what they have. Sad that they just don't know how how bad their lives could be.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all … The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic … There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

The Bolshevist Left, which wants to destroy the country, has propagandized it out of existence over the past 50 years.

This is what I was getting at. I have never understood the idea that I am irsh, african, spanish, mexican or what not. We all came here through different means whether it was volintary or unvolintary in the end we are here as one people, Americans. The one and only country where there is opportunity for all. Damn the hate that surrounds us.

Are you even American? J/k

As a country, we have gotten too prosperous. We don't know what it's like to sacrifice any more to achieve success because we are born into it. The poorest among us live like kings compared to the poor (or even the "middle class") in other countries. People have lost the ability to be thankful because they feel entitlement. Entitlement has led to disappointment, shame, and even hatred towards the country that they believe has let them down.

These institutions in and of themselves aren't evil.

They only became evil when co-opted and controlled by Marxists, whose ultimate goal is upheaval and destruction of civilization.

Winston Churchill has some interesting things to say about the roots of Bolshevism and its goals.

Have an up vote. Yes we have become entitled as you say, still not an excuse to belittle the country where you live and have given the masses so much and opportunity. Have lived in countries where the general population would sell their souls just for them or children could have the same opportunity. So sad what many here have become. If they only knew.
