I have a degree in econ and a minor in business but politics has always been my passion. Trying to look at all options.

Lie, cheat and steal. Learn to never take a firm stand on anything. Learn how to sling mud.
That about covers it.

Work on campaigns and/or intern for elected folk.

First step is to volunteer for a campaign.
Second step is to post selfies and photos of yourself with political figures.
Third step is to become a pompous a-hole.
Fourth step is to advance up the political career ladder by glad handing and networking with other pompous assholes.

Go to bill Cassidy or garret graves office and volunteer toake calls or knock on doors. Do a good job, get noticed, get a paid position, ???, profit.
It really is that easy.
