How would you respond?

This was employed by many famous civil rights activists like MLK. He would be in prayer while being beaten and spat upon.

Why can't they do it at another time and place?

I only support this if the fans are allowed to beat and spit on them.

I like how you all use MLK as an example when it was some of your relatives that were doing the awful stuff to the man

Same way. They can kneel and pray for unity during the invocation. Or after the Anthem.

During, standing, respectfully. They don't have to salute and they don't have to sing the anthem. Merely stand. That's it. Respect.

Still not cool. Wrong place and time to do that, IMO.

Only if it took less than 15 minutes. MLK had a very tight schedule with the ladies.

Why can't they pray on a 4th and 4?

Um, I can guarantee you none of my relatives were against MLK.

In fact they marched with him.

Why would they march against their own civil right?
