What do these protestors expect to change.

Protest here in downtown is swelling up and I'll have to walk through it here in the next half hour to get home. I'll ignore them and not engage but its swelling up big. Lots of people, news choppers, etc
My question is what are they hoping to accomplish at this point. Their protests are meaningless.

I'm not sure they really know. Maybe they think a free Starbucks coffee and muffin will be their reward.

I'm all for dissent, but these thugs need their teeth kicked in. The destruction of property is dispicable and cowardly.

Yep. I am not for big spending but maybe a great public works set of projects will give them some focus. Would the money spent be cheaper than dealing with the infestation of the agitators? Many are kids trying to feel like they are important. Some are good kids with no sense of purpose. I don't know, just a thought.
