Allies weren't too soft on the Germans if you read WWII history...considering the real force that took Berlin and Germany was the blood-thirsty Soviets...the place was destroyed...and then the US and Allies..took revenge even apart from Dresden...and Dresden was worse than the Atomic bombs.

If anything the Japanese got off soft compared to Dresden.

Japan was a total war mongering, rapist, everybody else are dogs...philosophy...

He got to live...

All Japan had to do was basically give up swords...

That was fricking it.

That was it.

The Bomb totally absolved them and they didn't Europeans...so they had no political expediency in the US to punish them. They murdered Chinese by millions more of any group in Europe - and average US farm boys. So America didn't care.

Treaty of Versailles lead to WW2 and the harsh treatment they received after WW1. You do not kick a country when it is down because extremists will find their way into power.

Their citizens were dogs compared to those of Europe in how they were treated by their own. Two 180* cultures and they were handled that way. Also we were stretched in recovery and rebuild duties all over the earth.
If we desolate their country there is nothing for us to do there but leave. Something or someone would fill the vacuum.
So we chose to rebuild as a cheaper option. But I agree that more heads should have rolled than did.

No. In fact most German people did not support the Nazi party. Right before Hitler took over as dictator, the Nazi party started to lose seats in Parliament. Why would we punish the citizens who just had their nation reduced to rumble?

That is about as bad a revisionist history as you will ever see....Germans LOVED Nazis and were all in on the final solution....there have been thousands of documentary's made with interviews of Germans who were alive and adult at the time and they universally say they truly believed (and still do) that the Jews sold them out at the end of the first world war and they were the root of evil....The NAZIs were never politically popular but when they gained power the German people were all in 100%....if you can get one to be honest today many still are 100% all in....

It is because of what the Allies did to Germany that they now welcome their Muslim overlords.

Again, horseshite....the only way that the allies reaction to Germany after WW2 has any effect on Muslim immigration to German stems from the fact that the United States built Germany into an industrial power who now needs workers and Germans just ain't fricking enough....

Ironically, our most punishing damage to Japan turned out to be in their benefit. We flattened all the steel mills and manufacturing plants. So, after the war everything had to be rebuilt using state of the art methods instead of just retooling and updating plants like the US did. This resulted in the Japanese car industry taking off.

The Russians would have waxed our arse on the ground, air power would have won the day but it would have been ugly.

We destroyed Japan through the air before Nagasaki and Hiroshima without a single ground soldier. We destroyed 63 Japanese cities prior to Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the fire bombings of Japan kill well over 100,000 people.

We would've raped the USSR all day, every day

Not necessarily saying he has bias, just pointing out the topic the dude was there to discuss.

You should probably log off for a while.
