It isn't odd it's reality. The media is certainly one sided. I just hope Trump has higher aspirations than to twitter troll the media by shitting on the first amendment

So we've finally come to a place in our political discourse where serious people from both parties can admit that there is a terrible problem with media bias-- a constitutionally protected right.

And you don't think we should address it? Trump should just "get a thick skin" and "stop being a pussy", right? The media is lying to the people and they know it. We absolutely should challenge them. But Trump hasn't done this in this particular example, so I'm not sure what point you are shooting for.

He marginalized a horde of violent lunatics with the words of their leader.

If brilliance isn't presidential, what is ?

Three pages and all Trumpkins can do is deflect and scream "Melt!"

Hillary did it too!!

I guess this is what the Poli board will be like for 4 years. Trump saying stupid shite and Trumpkins deflecting and supporting facism.

At what cost? Threatening the first amendment isn't something a president needs to be doing to solve a temporary problem.

And this is where you will come back with "oh he didn't mean it!" When do we start taking his twitterings seriously then?

zero monetarily sure. A fortune in respect lost from those of us who value the constitution and a ton of credibility lost if he truly just tweeted that as a media/protester troll

My guess is your respect was zero before hand, so no loss. Also, you don't honestly think this is a threat on the first amendment given the president has no power to enact such law (unlike Hillary who sponsored a bill)

Deflection doesn't help an argument FYI

What deflection? You said you lost respect? I challenge that you had no respect to lose. That's not deflection.

Speaking of invalid arguments mr strawman. I said nothing of his sincerity. I said he has no power in this matter regardless of his sincerity.

He certainly has the power to influence others so that a bill can be sponsored. Do you not think that was his intention or was he just "trolling the media"?

Also you tried to chang the subject from trumps sincerity to mine. That's deflection

At least you admit your argument was a straw man. So now you think this would have enough support to go through congress?

I hope it doesn't it would be a shitty thing to happen and at the minimum a huge waste of time and taxpayer money.

I'm still trying to figure out why you support him on this? Do you not respect the first amendment or do you not trust Trump to actually follow through with what he says he will do?

You did call it "brilliance" above after all
