I give it to the guy, he digs. Though he clings to the 'racist' thing, not even admitting that what he/Progs see as legitimate Black *reparation* economic policy...is (or can be, justifiably so) seen by Whites as a form of Racism and inequality.

YStar, I suggest you read up just a bit on Van Jones. What & who you hear on CNN is nothing close to who & what he is off air & in real life. He is no victim, Good Lord !

Yeah, Jones is a Commie Rev...and a smart one; or at the least a Democratic Authoritarian Socialist. Of course, he believes in Democracy; of the which the Founders rued. He is dangerous just like anybody who promotes their chosen Ideology well. My value and interest in Jones is that he has become up front in assessing the political dynamics. He does this in that coming Special, as I viewed some of his conversation with common folk in the Rust Belt.
I am inclined to believe that his - IMO, misguided -Marxist leanings are genuinely altruistic, as probably Marx was himself. Not that that will matter in the end...because those who believe in that Constitutionally-polar Ideology...will employ the same violent means that we will in defending ourselves against it.
It will be interesting to see how Humanity jumps this conundrum hurdle. Honest and forthright argument/political dialogue might help dodge the bullet of another streetfight. And I think Jones is just confident enough to attempt it. I swore off CNN, but I'll probably watch some of this on Tuesday night. If FrontLine ain't good.
