Report says to establish an outpost.... as for the why we'd need to ask Obama he sent them

Do you want to destroy ISIS? Raqqa is their center of operations at the moment.

I think we've given enough blood. And the fact that our own frickin' government(Obama's), was the creator of another mess for Americans to die for...pisses me off.

Marine Expeditionary Units are constantly deployed around the globe. They literally just float around the ocean for 6 months waiting on something to go down.

Even if the plan to send them in was formulated during the Obama administration you realize can pick up the phone and cancel that in like 30 seconds right?

Judging by all our past engagements in the region, what could go wrong?

I hear you but respectfully disagree. The military is voluntary, I volunteered myself back in the day.

I don't want any American servicemen to lose their lives, and that could easily happen, but I can almost promise you those there are excited for the opportunity to do their job.

Although not excited about them being there, lets hope they let them take the gloves off and drive those goat fricking bastards back to the stone ages.

You want you fricking 72 virgins, come get some mother fricker. Like them being there or not, I will support our troops.

It shouldn't be their job.

They chose it. And their job is what they train for, what they are going to be doing there is their job.

I understand your position. Just realize these guys want to be there, no one is putting your life on the line overseas.

Some could see a tragic end, but soldiers live for the chance to operate. I wish them the best

Let's hope that the "Rules of Engagement" have been changed to allow our Marines to do what they do best! Good luck and Semper Fi my brothers.
