yep folks. in 2 hours, Trump has deepened the divide

quote:

So Donald Trump is now president.

And it’s becoming obvious that the Republican Party is going to go completely crazy for the next two years at a minimum and undo many decades of progress, as has been their fondest wish for generations.

Not just to fight the battles of today, but to go back and erase the legacy of eighty years of progressive successes from the history books.

It's amazing what those fools consider "progress."

Know you not the hour of Keks return. You would be wise to bend the knee to his favored emissary.

I am still waiting for clarity on what Trump and his supporters see as progress? Other then trolling liberals and parroting MAGA and pepe memes.

Like if Trump follows through on his demand that Medicare negotiate drug prices, taking a larger role in the healthcare economy in order to pressure prices, where are you gonna stand?

How about Paul Ryan wanting to replace Obamacare's refundable tax credit....with a refundable tax credit? Does that MAGA enough for you?

When will Progressives quit being mendacious, or stop being disingenuous? Do you really believe there is no difference between these proposals and platforms? If so, what's the problem? You should be happier than a pig in shite.

I'm trying to find out what those two posters mean in specifics and what they expect Trump to do to address it? Because right now there are numerous stark conflicts coming from Trump, his administration and party leaders on these issues. The Medicare and premium tax credit just easily illustrate that.

If you are deriding the totality of the supposed progressive agenda, how do you square some of these statements and positions that are in fact either 1.) doubling down on the underlying position of progressives like with drug negotiations or 2.) are just shifting the distribution of the same mechanism that has been derided for years as being at its core wrong?

Destruction of social conservatism
Destruction of race/gender based politics
Destruction of the media

He's 2/3 already and not even in office.

The divide has been very deep for a long time, it's just the folks on the left and the MSM just ignored half the country. It still boggles me when MSM and folks on the left talk about Obama as this uplifting force that everyone was hopeful and excited about. You would think after a few blowout elections they would have figured that out but suddenly now that Trump is President of course it is the evil right being divisive because we won't submit to them.

So...even the libtards are putting the Bushes and Reagan in that category of "progress?"

And what is progress to them? Farming out american industry to India and China?

The divide is getting deeper because people are realizing that Leftists are insane and cannot be reasoned with.

I sincerely hate those people like never before in my life.
