Nancy Pelosi on what happens without Obamacare, apparently: “You want grandma living in the guest room? Then repeal the ACA."

10:28 AM - 4 Jan 2017

And I thought it was just the unborn that Democrats considered a burden.

Egg on my face... https://twitter.com/BrentScher/status/816682181456236544 …

@BrentScher Well, that's an incremental rhetorical improvement over pushing her over a cliff, I guess. @KatiePavlich

@BrentScher In this Democrat-built, shitty economy, what makes her think Grandma isn't already in my guest bedroom? https://twitter.com/BrentScher/status/816682181456236544 …

We have to repeal the bill so we can find out what was in it.

Those are some excellent reply tweeets. The dems always use granny. I can't believe that when the dems used granny in a wheelchair going over a cliff years ago the rhetoric worked.

Thank-God-No one believes their granny scare tactics anymore.

She can help with the 20-somethings living in the basement.

Never mind that taking care of parents is held as a fundamental family function in most parts of the world, and not considered a horror to fear.

my dad suffered a massive stroke 4 years ago and my mother and brother care for him 24/7/365.

ACA pays for a PT to come out for 10 weeks. every year they start calling and trying to sign up my dad and show up 2-3x and then bail.

my brother tried to force them to sign something saying they would come out for the full 10 weeks and they refused.

then they called and harassed my brother and threatened 'elder abuse' because he wouldn't sign up for it.

yep, ACA is working out so well for my family that we will be FURIOUS if Trump tries to change anything.

Does this mean that 500 million grannies will move into American households each month if Pelosi doesn't get her way?

And if we keep Obamacare working class will have to move into granny's house to afford the skyrocketing prices.

So Medicare will be eliminated, along with the ACA?

Well, that might help some of those single parent homes. Granny can watch the kids so they won't be running the streets.

The ACA does nothing to help grandma's living situation. It will, in fact, drive long-term care daily rates to rise as the ACO provisions drive nursing homes to increase revenue margins where they can.

Pelosi is a grandma 8 times. So, if Obamacare is repealed that means she will have to move in with one of them...
Or, it means she's a liar.

That's not the ACA. That's Medicare.

She is exempt from Ocare, besides she wouldn't need it anyway.
