must be tired of winning

quote:

The US economy started 2017 at a sluggish pace.

It only grew at an annual pace of 0.7% in the first three months of the year, according to the Commerce Department's report on gross domestic product, the broadest measure of economic activity. It was the slowest quarter of growth since the first quarter of 2014.

You think he can change the direction of the economy in less than 100 days?

Best news for Trump that could happen!

Gives him added ammunition to push repeal/replace, tax cuts and getting rid of regs.

It's not that TRUMP'S numbers are fake its that they are comparing them to fake numbers of the last eight years.

If you adjust Obama's fake numbers to what they really were then TRUMP'S numbers are in an improvement.

He didn't even take office till mid Jan, so the 1st qtr was well under way.

I bet no liberals will put a bet on the second qtr being that low.

Yes, you can shift it down that quickly. Not so much upwards.

That goes for most things in government. Takes mountains of effort, time, and good decisions to make things go right. However, just a few bad decisions to really frick a bunch of shite up. Which is why I pity the folks who are there now without proper staffing, and the future admin who will get crushed for doing the basic thing of filling essential positions.

Market discounts future income expectations.

GDP is past based backwards looking.

Good try though

You do know economists were predicting a Spring 2017 recession precisely for that reason, right?

But this nicely sets the table for tax reform.

C'mon, awwnt. You're a liberal but not a dummy. The market can react far quicker than the economy of a nation. Markets rose on HOPE of regulatory rollback.
