Ok, thank God. We all knew this was the most important issue of this election.

Good! Still an unknown quantity in a lot of ways but this is a change for the better. That's the kind of thing I'm hoping to see from him.

That's not enough.

He actually has to roll back the DOJ's prosecution of the WOD, continue the Obama Administration's policy of phasing out civil forfeiture and removing pot from schedule one.

Inaction against the states is not enough, there has to be action on the feds end of their own policies.

That would be much better. But it's still a step in the right direction.

If he does everything you mentioned, get me a coat.

Horse shite

This isn't worth any more of his time or anybody else's in his admin than to say "let the states do it".

The War on Drugs is directly tied into illegal immigration, the power cartels have in Latin American and Mexico and the violence they're waging. It is tied is directly tied into border security and stopping illegal immigration. It's not just a domestic crime issue, it's also a national security issue.

Civil forfeiture is government sanctioned theft and any sensible conservative should do everything they can to end it.

I ge the impression that there are many conservatives like you who still support the WOD but know that it's a losing issue.

So you don't want to oppose it publicly because you're still believe all that DARE bullshite but don't want the backlash of supporting the WOD.

So therefore, you just take a half assed way out and say it's not important and do everything you can to marginalize it and make it as fringe as you can in terms of importance.

Drain the Swamp! MAGA! We have better shite to do, like appointing John Bolton or Mitt Romney, or building a wall, or protecting industries from harsh economic realities.

State's Rights is how to try and shrink Government and get the Feds out of our lives.

I was happy to hear him say this.

I've always thought that it would take a new generation of lawmakers to legalize Marijuana. In other words, all the old legislatures dying.

Legalize pot and just tax the shite out of it like gas and cigarettes.

Beat the shite out of meth and heroine dealers. Maybe run them out before MMA matches and let wannabe cage fighters deal out some justice. A punch squarely to the nose is a great teacher.

The cops can focus resources on meth and heroine when they aren't chasing pot dealers...

Eh, pot dealers will switch to heroin and meth. They're in it for the easy money.
