Trump vacation costs

Over $11 million in one month

At this rate, an 8 year term would cost Americans 1.084 billion dollars.

The strangest part of it is that this is roughly what Obama cost in travel in a year, and even warranted Trump to complain about it 4 years ago.

This doesn't include local taxpayer costs (Florida spent over $300k for police for his trips - OT pay for police when the President is in town, and some of that was during Thanksgiving holidays, so the county had to absorb 248,000 in OT wages there).

This doesn't include the estimates of 500,000 per day to protect Trump tower. That cost, on an 8 year term, would be at 1.46 trillion dollars. Of course, if they do move at the end of the school year, as originally stated, that will keep the cost down to $50,000,000 (much more reasonable, obviously)

It should be noted that Fitton has hopes that if anyone can find a means of reducing said costs, it's Trump:

It is possible, of course, that the visits will die down immensely as his presidency gets into full swing. If that is so, then honestly, it's kind of no harm/no foul. If they continue at this pace, however, costs will be staggering.
