Trump surges in the polls after foreign diplomacy trip!

It's burnout, man. The masses are conditioned and calloused towards the daily, hourly hatchet job on Trump. It has literally gone on now for the past 16+ months, every day, every channel, every social media outlet, every CNN/MSNBC/ABC/AP alert... At some point people just start tuning it out. Eventually, it's human nature to start defending the person that is being vilified by people you don't identify with.
Just like in the election, the unfair treatment of POTUS actually drives people to him.

People are mad when you post facts but I doubt Lincoln had a high approval rating during his presidency? I choose to look at it as an indicator for reelection.

-8 approval. And that's his best poll on RCP. Fox News has him at -13 approval. At this rate even the Republicans in Congress will start to look for reasons to get rid of him.

Even if they wanted to, they can't do it without no shite damning smoking gun evidence of Trump committing a crime presenting itself.
Trump's base is still deeply and totally committed to him almost 100% and the GOP doesn't have the ability nor the political capital to frick with that considering they are lot of their own voters too.
