Donald, who was graduated first in his class from the Wharton School of Finance of the University of Pennsylvania in 1968, joined his father about five years ago. He has what his father calls “drive.” He also pos sesses, in his father's judgment, business acumen. “Donald is the smartest person I know,” he remarked admiringly. “Everything he touches turns to gold.”
And defeated following candidates who apparently spoke at a much higher grade level than Trump:
Hillary Clinton
Sanders (campaigned against him)
Obama (campaigned against him)
Romney (campaigned against him)
Other NeverTrumpers
John Kasich
Ted Cruz
Marco Rubio
Ben Carson
Jeb Bush
Chris Christie
Jim Gilmore
Carly Fiorina
Rick Santorum
Rand Paul
George Pataki
Lindsey Graham
Scott Walker
Rick Perry

Yeah, most Americans are fricking morons. So not super surprising they would vote for one of their own

While I find the prospect of a fricking moron becoming a billionaire an unlikely event, I do appreciate your condemnation of the average voter and subsequently democracy.

I've got no problem with democracy. I accept the results of the election. I just think most of the people who voted for him are lacking upstairs

That said, I'm questioning your logic. Seems strange to argue against a dumb billionaire based on the low likelihood of that happening, when likelihood of becoming a billionaire itself may is do outrageously low.
It's like when people argue the low probability of life on out planet, as justification for a higher intelligence, yet don't have an issue with the low probability of one's own life, given all the circumstances (dating back to our earliest ancestors) that led to that single sperm cell making it to the egg.
In other words, I just realized that I posted a lot of nonsense and should go to bed.

At least you included the "most"...
It is probably worth considering that there are millions of people who are smarter than you who voted for Trump (unless you are >98 percentile, in which case it's only hundreds of thousands).
These people evaluated the choice rationally and determined that Donald Trump was the better option.

His public speech style is very close to Benito Mussolini or Huey Long.
Yet you progressives keep calling him Hitler......

1) Billionaire
2) First in class at Wharton
3) Many best sellers & hit TV series
4) POTUS
And this guy is a moron.
If what you are saying about Americans is true, then this "moron" spoke the same language as his audience (electorate) while all those clearly-not-moron candidates whose language and grammar is at much higher grade level failed to do same.
Hence, couldn't manage to defeat this moron.
AND HE IS THE MORON.

We'll the average American audience listens at a 3rd grade level so its a smart move on TRUMP'S part.

Most people in America that aren't a pompous arse don't walk around speaking like they're writing a fricking novel.

A Builder Looks Back—and Moves Forward
By Alden Whitman
January 28, 1973
There is a certain alchemy for success in residential building and developing. Some men don't have it, and what should be gold turns to dross. Others possess it and create housing empires with seeming ease. One of these is a man whose name is probably unfamiliar to most New Yorkers, although he is marking his 50th year in the industry.
He is Fred C. Trump, the 67-year-old Chairman of the multimillion-dollar Trump Organization. The bulk of his building activity has been in Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. Now he is moving into Manhattan, where most of the illustrious reputations in New York real estate and architecture have been nurtured. His organization, he said, is buying a prime building site on the East Side for rental apartments.
Through 58 corporations, Mr. Trump owns 39 apartment complexes in the city that he values at $150-million.

Obama read the teleprompter at a college level.
Turn off the teleprompter and he spoke at the stuttering idiot level.
