Trump speaking in front of wall to CIA

Are you asking about the significance of the wall itself or the significance of Trump speaking to the CIA on the first day in office?

More so why people are talking about him speaking in front of the wall. I keep hearing "he spoke in front of the wall". I get the significance of a memorial wall. I am just lost as to what the issue is on him being in front of it I guess.

He spoke in front of the wall because if he had spoken behind the wall no one could see nor hear him.

Somebody in a news room sees how he can exploit it by creating the "Fake News" that this is a gigantic affront to protocol. And every other Fake News operation than runs with it. Intentionally ignoring that the CIA is tremendously relieved that Trump is President after eight years of a political-correct minefield. Later somebody checks, and shows that the wall has been used as the setting multiple times before Trump for various reasons and not a word was said.

He used the memorial to agents killed on the line of duty to talk about his "ongoing war with the media" and ongoing insecurities about size.

As you know - my objection to Trump for the entire election cycle has been his lack of temperament for the office of POTUS. I have forever, and always will, be in support of just about every general agenda point of his campaign.

My problems have always been with his dedication to those ideals ==== those reservations have largely been erased based on the quality of the cabinet he has assembled.

I am still embarrassed by the narcissism and the dumbassery of his comments. Neither of those are qualities I can ever admire - I can overlook them but goddamit, is it too much to ask for a POTUS to act like one once in a while?

I would think that a wordsmith and intellectual thinker such as yourself would at least want a little demonstration of temperament beyond that of a jilted 13 yr old spoiled brat.

I support every aspect of his agenda as I understand it - and I thank GOD every day that he was elected. I wish him nothing but the very best. I want him to go down as the greatest POTUS of all time. I just hope he will leave a few quotes that would be intellectually honest and thought provoking.

He reminds me of the 3 Stooges - even as a child I never thought their antics were funny. But their intentions were always good.

I wonder how many of those stars are there because of the media.
