The bill comes after Trump signed an executive order in April creating a new office in the VA aimed at weeding out poorly performing employees.

President Trump on Friday will sign bills that protect whistleblowers at the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) and make it easier to fire problematic employees.

They can start with the jackass that scheduled me a 0830 appointment in Durham 3 hours away, only to tell me they dont do appointments until 11 when i got there.

Takes 3 months to get a rheumatology appointment but they only take rheum patients on monday and friday. Brilliant and efficient.

Trump just fullfilling another campaign promise. MAGA.
Clean out some of them do nothing Democrats sitting on their arse and drawing a gubbberment check.
If you have never been to a VA Facility, I suggest you drop by, walk around for an hour. Stop by their canteen for lunch. You will see just exactly what I am talking about.

As an actually productive VA employee, this pleases me bigly.

While the VA has more than their fair share of "problematic" employees... Why is there not a bill that applies to the entire federal government that would allow for the firing of "problematic" employees...

The inefficiency and waste at the VA is actually seen and can be reported on... Unfortunately, the rest of the departments in the federal government are just as inefficient and "problematic"...

I like the part about being able to fire an employee within 10 days instead of 30 days.

Needs to make those apply to the DMV as well.
