Would you Trumpkins object to this? If Trump refutes Comey's account under oath then someone has committed perjury.

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) on Thursday said President Donald Trump should match fired FBI Director James Comey and testify under oath and in public.
Following Comey’s appearance in an open session before the Senate Intelligence Committee, Murphy released a statement saying it was “hard to overstate the impact” of Comey’s testimony.
“If the White House’s account differs from what we heard today, the American people deserve to hear the President’s side of the story in a similar forum – under oath and open to the press,” Murphy said.
“It’s hard to overstate the impact of Jim Comey’s testimony today. For the first time, under oath and penalty of perjury, the former FBI Director testified that the president repeatedly pressed him for a pledge of loyalty, and asked him to drop the investigation into illegal activity of a White House staffer at the center of the Russia probe. A couple months later, after neither request was fulfilled, Trump fired him,” said Murphy. “That confirms that media reports aren’t ‘fake news’ – they’re very real and very concerning.”
“Every day, it seems like the walls are closing in on this president. What’s most important is that investigators in the Senate and at the Department of Justice get all the facts and find the truth. If the White House’s account differs from what we heard today, the American people deserve to hear the president’s side of the story in a similar forum – under oath and open to the press,” added Murphy.

It wouldn't matter.
People like you still wouldn't believe him.
He's got a job to do; continuously responding to Democrat tantrums isn't it.

It would be an excellent chance for him to defend himself. He could then tell the whole world he didn't ask Comey to let Flynn go.

Maybe he should have Obama go first, so he could have the distinction of being the first president since Clinton to testify under oath!
He already proved Comey lied about leaking after tweet!

And you would believe him if he said those things?

I'm convinced that you are mentally unbalanced.

Pretty telling his fanbois don't want him to tell his side of the story. Let's hear the tapes.

Why? The left has repeatedly self-destructed through political suicide at every turn. Why throw gas on something that has already burnt to ashes?

Maybe he will even super pinky promise to tell the truth..

Defend himself from what? Maybe someone should produce a single shred of evidence that he has done something wrong before he needs to defend himself.

I don't care whether he testifies or not.
And I'm certainly not a "fanboy."
But you know darn well it wouldn't matter to his haters what he said.

Sure he could. But he has more important things to worry about, like fix our health care system and give us tax cuts. Instead, we are stuck sitting here watching you libs sit in your sad corner with your arms crossed like a bunch of children getting their toys taken away.

He's not going to go in front of a committee every time you get your panties in a wad. Jesus Christ
