They are making a big deal that he did not say "radical Islamic terror".
What's the difference. He dropped an adjective. Really what he said includes a larger group of Islamist than using the adjective "radical" would have.

It is the Headline of an ABC article, saying he did not say it. Instead of reading the speech the liberals ran with it. In a week it will be repeated as proven fact by somebody.

The term radical Islamic terror is meaningless. The term Islamist is specific and has a specific history. I'd rather use that term if we aren't going to call out the sect that drives literally all of Islamist movement.
