Trump presidency the ultimate lesson on C students employing A students

The news today from the Afghanistan ambassador really struck a cord with me in why Trump is so much different than most politicians. Obviously he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he deals in two things common sense and results. Academics deal in theory, which usually means you dont do the easy or common sense thing and has varying results.
If you look at his cabinet its more of the same, people who are result oriented and have gone out and accomplished things, rather than some genius MIT physicist who sells our country out to Iran.
It will be interesting to watch how much more, or less, effective Trump is at governing than what academics have been in the past.

Obama held his college transcripts very close! I suspect he was a C student. Problem was he was not competent nor were his people.

Holy Lord you are dumb.

This reminds me of the W college commencement speech where he says "congratuations to the valedictorians, and the a and b students. And to the C students, you too can be come president."

I think your over simplifying trump. He is a very intelligent person and went to the warton school of business then built a billion dollar realistate company from a million dollar gift.
Hes a sellsman that simplifies things to get what he wants. His greatest asset is that he understands people.

By no means is he dumb, just saying hes no academic. Doesnt mean he's not smart. Hell he just ran the most innovative campaign in history

Lurch the Pickle Usurper had a lower GPA that W, but W had enough humility to joke about it.

Let's not act like Trump isn't part of the elite class. Trump is a technocrat and he believes in fixing problems through cost analyst. He believes the US is in trouble because of bad deals and that he can make better deals because Trump believes is a great negotiator. Like all technocrats Trump wants to fix things.
Trump doesn't have a real sense of American history or a set of values/ principles. That's why he comes off insensitive and drives the left mad. When he talks about our problems in Asia and Europe, Trump doesn't take into account the history of our political bond. Instead, it's what have you done for me lately, pay your share and stop screwing us.
Trumps a political force because he was able to articulate to common folks. The country has changed greatly in the past 30 years especially economically. His criticism of the bad deals on NAFTA and TPP was just a perfect issue in 2016.

My girl KellyAnne did that. Can't wait for her nod for Vice President in 2020 and campaign in 2024

I don't understand how Trump ever became this "idiot" that some people like to parrot constantly. He just pulled probably the biggest political upset in modern times.

He also mentioned all the people who kept the barstools warm down at the Chimes.

Everyone deals with theory. That's how we explain things. Anytime you say something caused something else, you have come up with a theory.

That would be a hypothesis.
A theory is if and when you can prove it.

Wrong. Good theories can never be "proven," only "supported." This is due to the logic of falsifiability. Google the name "Karl Popper" if you want to know what I'm talking about.
BTW, a hypothesis is a specific testable statement derived from theory. In that way, a hypothesis is implied by a theory.

B and C students are some of the most successful people out there.
Didn't waste time getting stressed out over nothing.

quote:Of course not. He is not Democrat. That makes him an ignoramus. Ivy League schooling, multibillions earned, a successful presidential campaign as his first foray into politics notwithstanding.
Obviously he's not the sharpest tool in the shed

He ran agin...
... the WORST condidate of all time.
Even an old self avowed jewish socialist almost beat her - and maybe would if running on a level field. Elite class? Not sure, I'm personally too far removed to answer. More likely suffers from being nouveau riche and is trying hard to fit in, instill legitimacy in society, and suffering the same rejection the early Kennedy's did when they tried to join the club. Believe that's what happened at Mar-a-Lago, "the Clampetts moved to town.".
Not to say that'll stop him from being Presidential -nor- the only reason he would succeed.
