I got into it a little with with a fellow MAGA'er earlier this month. He/she said Trump tried but the lib judges ruined his order.

Only partially true - as the article points out Trump has any number of options he can use to keep Muslim cretins out of our country - requiring TB vaccination proof, requiring quarantines on Muslims, placing a priority on Christian refugees from these Muslim countries, etc

This was my #1 issue - I give him a D+ On keeping this promise. Sad!

Over 4400 Muslims admitted under the reign of Trump.

Of the 35 pledges Trump uttered from his mouth during the election, he hasn't even acted on 18 of them. Why did you believe him to begin with? You really were "all in" weren't you? Sad.

Most of the Trumpkins didn't think that. Or at least the basic ones. I guess you're not a basic one?

This is what made the first EO unconstitutional, and rightfully so.

Full disclosure, I think the second one is fine, but they removed this language.

requiring quarantines on Muslims

Definitely would be struck down. I know we did it to the Japs and SCOTUS approved (outside of Dred Scott, there probably isn't a worse case by SCOTUS), but this is not that SCOTUS and I just simply refuse to believe that we would have "quarantines" (if that's what you want to call it, more like concentration camps) for people simply based on religion. Sounds very Hitler like.

How about rallying the GOP governors to refuse them

Any number of ways to stop it - the (vast) majority of Americans do not want Somalians being moved into their city

You can't ban an entire religion; you want to have extreme vetting, execute terrorists and such, I'm on board. I stop when we get to banning an entire religion. That's as blatantly unconstitutional as banning guns would be.

The constitution does not apply to citizens of the world. If the president wants to ban all immigrants that are over 6'2, he has the right to do it.
