President should move forward with funding cuts to munis and county govs within the 9th district immediately due to violations of immigration policy and failure to enforce the law. Also elected local officials refusing to enforce the law should now be arrested for the same. West coast will be the example of what happens when you fail to enforce endangers the other 47 states.

Congress needs to do more. It's not on Trump alone to reign this shite in.

In an all-Republican Congress, they could do far more damage than Trump ever could.

But, they're cucks.

Problem is those West Coast states don't NEED federal money. They pay more in fed taxes than they receive. Not the case in Louisiana who is dependent on federal subsidies.

If they don't need it then we already have a great reason to not give it to them

On the surface that is true; however, once you begin calculating in other sources of funding that the fed covers such as welfare, Medicaid, higher education, that number changes. If California were on the hook for all of that money, they'd be broke in a year. Not to mention, if they succeeded, most of their electricity would be shut off.

Huh?

We produce more electricity than we use.

Actually California alone would have over $10 billion a year more to put towards their budget. Also they supply 1/3 of the nations vegetables and 2/3 of the fruits and nuts.

California is the most populous state in the nation, but its total energy demand is second to the state of Texas. The state has one of the lowest per capita energy consumption rates in the country due in part to the relatively mild weather comparative to the rest of the nation.

2018. He really can't do much in 2017 because of how appropriations work.

But 2018 the hammer comes down bigly!

Agree.

Congress has Constitutional authority over the Judicial branch's budget, number of courts, and jurisdiction.

They need to start using their power.

100% correct, and CA provides a lot of the nation's fresh produce, too!
