If you disagree then explain why.

Can you start by explaining why you think the handling of the two crises is similar?

Why don't you explain yourself first and then we'll go from there.

Don't totally disagree, but the situation in Cuba was much worse, IMO.

Cuba was clearly backed by the Russians all the way.

NK seemingly has no allies if they strike first. Russia and China agreed to sanctions. They won't back NK's play unless we strike first.

Stop trolling me.

I've already posted a link to my blog where you can see some photos we took during early sightings and frames from my brother's and my first video in 2004.

If someone as impulsive and short-sighted as Trump was President during the Cuban Missle Crisis there would have been a Nuclear War.

If you disagree then explain why.

1. JFK, despite being hopped up on painkillers, was a calming presence to the American people.

2. You think Trump is about to give KJU everything he wants? That's what JFK did to Kruschev to end the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Is he going to abandon freedom fighters like JFK, too?

He is getting better at the POTUS thing.

Things that are obvious

A) both involve nuclear threats

B) both involved some degree of backdoor diplomacy

You've been asked 2-3 times for your position, why not provide it?

He should deliver essentially the same speech that JFK did, just changing around the specifics.

"We shall deem any ballistic missile attack, against anyone, anywhere, originating from the Korean Peninsula as a nuclear attack by North Korea on the United States - an attack justifying a total retaliatory response upon confirmation of this attack. North Korea shall immediately disarm and dismantle all ballistic missiles and nuclear warheads or face increasing sanctions and isolation from the community of nations."

I disagree because President Trump is not impulsive and short-sighted.

He sees the big picture and is acting quickly to stop it.
