quote:

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said this week that another opening could come as soon as this summer, and there have been rumors that Justice Anthony Kennedy, often a swing voter on the court, could retire soon.

Kennedy, 80, was nominated to the court by President Reagan.

Whether Kennedy or one of the court’s other justices will retire is anyone’s guess, but experts in the legal community say Trump should be ready regardless.

And all the Liberals says

Just burned that puppy the other day.

Trump is pretty steady about doing what he says when he is able so I expect someone off his list.

He only said he'd use the list for the first pick - will be interesting

And easily RBG by next year. Trump could get 3 in 1 year - perhaps 4 in the first term and, outside chance of 5 in 2 terms.

Gamechanging.

Oh, it's gonna happen. A minimum of 3 the first term, and 5 overall.

Just wait until Trump's SCOTUS (that almost sounds dirty) overturns Roe v. Wade and sends the matter of abortion back to the states. THIS WILL HAPPEN!

I question whether Cruz could get confirmed. He has pissed off everyone including Republicans

While it should go back to states it isn't going to change anything.

If MS can't pass a personhood law no other state is going to either, but from a Constitutional perspective I'm a fan.

Actually, Thomas Lee would be a great pick. He's my plumber, but he's a strict constructionist.
