Half of FHWA's regs in the Federal Register could be dumped and no one would miss it.

How stupid are you? Do you or anyone even within the government know all of the millions of regulations and rules? Of course he needs folks to look into various regulations. It isn't punting, it is delegating like a President is fracking supposed to do.

I suppose you just prefer your leaders "pass it to know what's in it."

he's telling the agencies to get back with him about ways their regs can be more efficient!

In brief comments in the Oval Office, the president said each task force will report back to the White House “every once in a while” with their findings.

quote:

“This executive order is one of many ways we’re going to get real results when it comes to job-killing regulations and unleashing economic opportunity,” he said. “We’re going to bring back jobs and create more opportunities to prosper, maybe more than ever before in our country.”

quote:

"We’re going to solve it very quickly.”
