First of all, I never accused her of anything. Just stated how much she donated. I don't know what her motivations are. That said, $5 million is a sizable contribution.

Second, there are a lot of reasons that a person would potentially want a cabinet spot beyond the paycheck. C'mon. Don't be naive.

Trump Plaza sponsored Wrestlemania 4 and 5 in 1988 and 1989. Trump himself appeared at Wrestlemania 23 in 2007. He has a long history of working with the McMahons. They donated money to him because they are friends not because Linda was looking for a job.

so the feds bring you up on bs charges and that makes you shady. a disgruntled and later discredited witness is the only one who made the claim, the prosecution's star witness and someone with whom McMahon had some bad blood with at the time was hulk Hogan and he testified that McMahon never ordered, or encouraged him to use steroids. that was a witch hunt plain and simple

don't know what this is, but what does that have to do with McMahon

So is this because the McMahons were the biggest outside donors to trumps charity? (5 million dollars)

And within minutes the talking points are released to an eager consortium of liberal shills, trolls, and metltees. Funny how stuff like this was a non issue just a few weeks ago.

That's a bit dismissive.

The McMahons took a small, regional company and turned it into world wide cash machine and she was a huge part of that. That's not the worst person to lead small business.

They beat Ted Turner's arse when he poured tons of resources into taking over wrestling.

I know that the wrestling jokes are easy but that is all they are.

I was being dismissive of her ability to exploit the position in favor of the WWE

It's a cabinet level position and the SBA has almost a billion dollar budget if I remember correctly and several thousand employees. It has outposts in every state.

It's not Secretary of State, but let's not pretend this position has insignificant influence.

Don't know, but I'm certain she has been under consideration for weeks. I'm just struggling with the idea that a multi millionaire business woman would need to buy a job at a price that is more than the collective salary? She isn't a politician, she is in entertainment so the connections and influence don't really benefit her or her business personally. She runs a $3b company already. She and Trump are longtime friends and associates, so a large donation to his charity seems very unsuprising.

Think about the accusation before you make it.
