This just can't be. Toddy told us yesterday in the 37% poll thread that Trump's approval rating was going to crash after the Comey hearing yesterday.

in fact trump's approval climbed just 1 percentage point in this poll compared to the last rasmussen poll that had him at 49-51

Rasmussen and Gallop are completely different polls with different methodology. RCP average is -6.7. That's horrible for the first few months of a Presidency.

So these early numbers aren't really indicative of anything. So why do defend them so?
